Aiden is "2"!
Mr. Aiden, you are a huge ball of energy! Where has the time gone by?
You love to do things all by yourself, and are wanting to do more and more.
You love to play with trains and your brother.
You are so curious about the world around you.
You have developed a cute little attitude. But you definitely get your point across.
Aiden you are now saying two word sentences, love to play pretend, and sing. This past year has been fun watching you learn and grow. I can not wait to see what this year will bring. Happy Birthday Aiden!!

March
March came in like a lion! This winter has been really warm! I am not complaining, I HATE driving in snow. But I like to go sledding, and Nathan and I wanted to take the kids sledding this winter. Since it has been so warm we haven't been able to. So when we woke up to this on the first of March we were excited. We could finally use the sled that be bought in December.
But...Cameron had other plans for us. He woke up sick and has been sick off and on since. I think it is because of the weather. We are super warm one day and really cold the next...
Thankfully Aiden has not been sick like Cameron.

Yarn
Cameron and Aiden LOVE yarn! I have been working on this project:
Both boys found the blanket and decided to do this:
Thankfully they only pulled out two and a half rows, (I needed the practice). I also found out that Aiden loves having the yarn run through his hands when I wound up the yarn. He laughed so hard and wanted to do it again. :)

The Hat
Cameron and Aiden has a hat that they are both in love with! They are constantly battling each other for this hat. I guess it was Aiden's turn for the hat. Sweet dreams little guy. :)
Cousin
Olan and Sarah came over this past week with their son Carter. My boys (especially Aiden) are in love with Carter! All Aiden wanted to do was hold and play with Carter. I can not wait for Carter to get a little older to be up and going with the boys!
Nevada
Our Nevada trip was short but good. I can safety say that everyone is glad to be home! As usual the boys and I had some fun at Chuck E Cheese while Nathan went to his interview; which by the way went really good. Now we are waiting until March 21 to see if he is matched with any of the places he interviewed with...
When we got home and unpacked from our Nevada trip, I had put away the luggage. Sometime during the same day I came across something that I needed to put in it, so I pulled them back out. Cameron and Aiden saw me pull them back out and they were not happy. Cameron kept telling me "Stay home Mom, Cameron stay home!!" Aiden kept saying "NO!!" If I didn't know any better I think the boys are tired of being stuck in the car for long rides. I don't blame them.

California Adventures
Nathan had three interviews for residency programs in California this month. Two on Feb 10th on one on Feb 14th. We decided to drive down to California as a family. The weather was beautiful and we were able to have some fun in between interviews.
The drive on down was pretty. It was amazing to see the refection of the mountains in the water. The boys also handled the drive okay. However Aiden does NOT like to sleep in his car seat! I really don't blame him!
On Sunday we went to see the Sacramento temple. It really is a nice temple. There was a flock of geese that was on the large grass areas around the temple. Nathan decided to take Aiden and see the geese. Aiden had fun, Cameron and I decided to stay back. :)
We took the kids to the California State Railroad Museum and had a blast!! The boys had fun looking at all the big trains but the especially had fun playing with the toy trains. Cameron saw a gentleman that was dressed up in work overalls and he kept calling him "Mr. Conductor." I told him yes that is Mr. Conductor. I knew it wasn't but the right name wasn't coming to mind, so I told him that so he would quit yelling it at me. As soon as I said that, this gentleman quickly turned around and sternly said, "No! I am not a conductor! I am an engineer!" Lesson learned. Do not call an engineer a conductor. They do not like that!!
We were able to walk around Old Sacramento. It was cool to see some of the old buildings.
While waiting for Nathan to finish his last interview, I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. They had a blast!
On our way home is was so pretty outside. The air was so clean and crisp.
We made it home at 2am Wednesday morning. It felt so good to be in my own bed after spending a week in a hotel. One road trip done one more to go. Next stop Nevada.
