Snow!!!

Our weather people have been telling us to expect a huge snow storm and that it will hit in the morning. Well I woke up this morning to no snow. I was not excited to see that. But that has all since changed! I looked out the windows after eleven today and this is what I saw:
So I decided to bundle Cameron on up to go show him snow. He has never seen it before. When we got to the bottom of the stairs instead of making a mad dash to the playground he just stood there confused. He looked at me just puzzled. He could not figure out why he saw stuff flying at him but at the same time get wet. It was the funniest thing ever to see. So when we got back to the apartment this is what he looked like:
He just could not keep from staring out the window!
Since I started writing this blog the snow had been coming down even heavier. You cannot see the grass not like you can in the pictures below and it is not starting to cover the sidewalks. I cannot wait to get out and make a snowman.

Happy Birthday Nathan!!

Nathan had his birthday on the 26th. He started the day off with taking and passing a biochem test. Then he came home and relaxed while playing Zelda with Cameron and had a yummy dinner. He also fit in a snuggle match with Cameron.
A birthday for Nathan is just not complete without having a cheesecake. You will notice there is no candles on it, that is because Nathan does not like having holes put into his cheesecake.
Like father like son. I also think Cameron is becoming a big fan of cheesecake. :)
Over all I think Nathan had a good day. Happy birthday Nathan!!

What has Cameron been up to?

Cameron has been a busy boy. He is climbing all over and do what boys do best getting into mischief.
He also like to try and be like his Dad...
and like his Mom.
Cameron loves bath time.
He also loves to play with shoes and watch the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Cameron is our Mr. Smiles. He always has a smile ready. We love him so much!

White Coat Ceremony

It is official, Nathan has started pharmacy school!! To kick things off the school had a White Coat Ceremony. For those who don't know what that is hear it is in a nut shell. All what a white coat ceremony is, is the induction of the students into the doctorate medical field. So hear is some pictures from Nathans.

I tried to take lots of pictures but I had a fat head in front of me that kept standing up when I wanted to take a picture (this guy was taller then me). Also I had a little boy that was running off of four hours of sleep. Don't ask me why...it was just a BAD night.

So just before they have their white coats put on they take the Pledge of Professionalism. Nathan is the one in the gray shirt in the middle.
Then it is time to get there white coats. They are called up by name and the coat is placed on them. I have a video of it, but it is 9mb to big. As soon as I find a way to shrink it I will post it. Sorry.

After they have their white coats on then they take The Oath of a Pharmacist. Nathan is the one in front of the guy with the supper white shirt and is in the middle.

Nathan I am so proud of you!!! Here is Nathan supper excited to finally be in school. He has so been ready to get things underway this whole entire summer.
Thank you to everyone who have supported and helped us this summer. It has been crazy but fun. A special thanks to Nathan's family who let us stay with them when they moved back to Phoenix and helping us load the truck with our stuff. Also to Lisa's family for helping us move our stuff up to our third floor apartment on a hot day.

Updates finally!!

Hi Everyone, sorry we haven't posted for a while. We have been busy and enjoying time as a family. So let begin with August. We had lots of fun together as a family going on many adventures. Our favorite was going to Thanksgiving Point and walking around. One of the spots that we really liked was this man-made waterfall in the gardens.
Nathan had lots of fun playing with Cameron. Cameron really enjoyed his Daddy Cameron time.
They played the cool dudes...
played video games...
and they just liked to hangout together, even if one of them is asleep.
It has been so much fun watching my guys. It has been expecially fun to watch Cameron want to do more "boy" stuff with his Dad like rough housing. I guess I can't do it the same as Dad.
