VACATION!!! Part 1

There has been lots of things going on around the McClellan house hold. Nathan was able to finish his second year of pharmacy school the first week of June (I am so excited we only have one year left of school!!). We moved to a new apartment on the second week of June and two days after the move we went on vacation to Arizona. Call us crazy but it was well worth the craziness ;).

It was fun being able to see Nathan's family as well as seeing my Aunt and Uncle and some friends. I have to admit that there was a bit of a weather shock, when we left Utah it was sixty degrees (that was our high for the day), when we got to Arizona it was in the one-hundreds. We got roasted but we had fun.

Aiden isn't quite sure why he is still in the car when it has been a little over an hour already. 6-20-2011

Are we there yet? 6-20-2011

Exploring Grandma M's toys. 6-20-2011

So HAPPY to be out the car!! 6-20-2011

I look good in these glasses Mom. 6-21-2011

We gave Cameron our dieing camera. He had a blast with it! 6-20-2011
While down in Arizona we had the opportunity to take Cameron and Aiden to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. The boys had a blast!! Lets just say they slept very will that night. :)

Aiden loved that fact that he can go up the stairs by himself and then going down the slide (that is the shinny thing in the picture). He did this for a couple of hours. 6-22-2011

Cameron trying to figure out how this thing works. 6-22-2011

Aiden is still going up the stairs and down the slide, while Grandpa M (the guy in the orange shirt in the back of me) looks on. 6-22-2011

Having fun in a maze. 6-22-2011

Still going up the stairs and down the slide...no Aiden is not eating the railing he was talking to me when I took the picture. 6-22-2011

Cameron and Aiden were trying to decided whether or not it would be fun to paint rocks with water. 6-22-2011

Having fun driving cars. 6-22-2011

Cameron loved this toy. Every time he would let a car go at the top he would squeal with delight as he watched the car go to the bottom. 6-22-2011

Aiden had to check out what his brother was squealing about. 6-22-2011

Looking cool Dude. :) 6-22-2011

Need I say anything. :) 6-22-2011

Cameron was the master at finding quiet spaces where no one would bother him. Here he is doing a puzzle with Grandpa M. 6-22-2011

This is some weird sculpture that the museum had for the kids to paint. Cameron loved painting. 6-22-2011

This table was fun. There was fine sand on top that you could move around. If you look closely you can see Cameron's hand print. 6-22-2011

Cameron got a kick out of this thing. He had fun putting balls of fabric in it and watching it fly out and hit people passing. 6-22-2011

Having fun building a fort. 6-22-2011

Aiden trying to get involved in the fort building action. 6-22-2011

Sleeping Boys

I love it when my boys sleep. But what is more fun is to see where these guys can sleep.

Our little dare devil (Aiden) finally asleep. :) 6-13-2011

Sweet dreams Cameron. 6-13-2011

Snuggling up to Dad after church. 6-19-2011

I have never been able to figure out how the boys can sleep in their car seats. It looks so uncomfortable. Aiden is taking one of many naps on the way to Arizona to see Grandma and Grandpa M. 6-20-2011

I wonder what Cameron is dreaming about?...Thomas the Tank Engine?  6-21-2011

Aiden and Cameron were sharing a bed when we we visited Grandpa and Grandma M. Poor Cameron got kicked out of bed when Aiden decided to take over. 6-22-2011

Aiden cracks me up! He LOVES my laundry basket. He slept like this for two hours. I still do not know how he can sleep in that basket. 4-20-2011

First Hair Cut

The time has come sadly enough. Aiden has gotten his first hair cut. He LOVED it. Aiden was such a big boy, he would giggle every time the clippers were passed over his head.

School

Cameron had his first day of preschool on May 10,2011. He was so excited because he was able to have his backpack with him. Cameron got so excited when he saw a bus come to the front of our apartment building. He kept repeating "bus" over and over, the joy on his face was priceless. As soon as he realized that he needed to get on the bus after the bus honked its horn and put on its breaks all fun and games were over. I felt so bad Cameron screamed all the way to school. He has since gotten better with the bus rides and seems to be enjoying school to some extent.

First day of school.

Ready for school. :)

Pudding fun...

Cameron does not like to get dirty, so I decided that I would show him that it is "fun" to get dirty. To do this I made vanilla pudding and I colored it with food coloring. This is how it went...

Aiden LOVED it. He would rather eat it then paint...but that is okay, it is what 14 months olds do. :)

Cameron did NOT like it to much. He tasted it but after this picture was taken he was telling me "down" to get down.

I am happy with how it went. It was fun to see the difference between the boys. I was diffidently happy that Cameron gave it a try and that Aiden went nuts with it.

March

What a month it has been. Nathan is doing to well with school and he is really enjoying his job. Aiden is just learning new things every day and letting me know that he wants to be incharge. Cameron has been doing wonderful. He has been attending a toddler class that he just absolutely loving!! We are going to be sad to leave his friends when he turns three. They have been doing a lot of art projects lately and he is so proud of them. We have started the art wall and Cameron is so happy when he can put something new up there.
The art wall.
Cameron recently went to the doctors and got a shot. His doctor lets him pick out a toy when they get shots and these are what he immediately picked out...and shocks beyond shocks he wanted me to take his picture! He has not wanted his picture taken for a very long time.

He is so proud of them. They had a sunglasses part that would flip up but he took it off with in 2.5seconds of getting into the car with them. He loves wearing them anytime Nathan or I wear ours.
Since Cameron turns three in April he gets to start preschool. Our school district is a year round we so happen to be off track in April so he won't be able to start until May. I can't tell if he is excited or not or if he understands what is going to happen. We have been able to meet the teacher and speech therapist that will be working with him and we think he likes them. I know Nathan and I do. It is an exciting time, we are really hoping that preschool will help him and that he will learn the skills he needs to be able to cope with his surroundings. Every time we are out driving around Cameron likes to point out buses. Little does he know he gets to ride one.

Mr. Cameron you are going so big, but you are still our little man. You are so independent and such a great helper. It so fascinating watching you learn and grow. I hope that you will be able to enjoy your new school. Know this, that Mommy and Daddy will do what ever it takes to help you succeed and that we love you so much.
Our Mr. Cameron. :)
Cameron wanted to put on his own lotion without me knowing or helping. I think he did pretty good.

Aiden

Aiden, our little man. You have been growing up so fast!!! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you. You have conquered all the challenges that have come your way. You have gone through life so happy and you have always had a smile ready for anyone who looked at you even though you were not feeling your best. Aiden you demonstrate more and more that you are growing up and it is so fun to watch.
Aiden is so happy to be setting next to Cameron
Aiden has this blanket that he has claimed as his. He goes everywhere with this blanket. I have learned never to leave home without it.

I was making dinner and Aiden came in with his blanket. Next thing I know he sound asleep on the floor next to the fridge

I had ran to the church for an early meeting and left Nathan in charge of getting the boys ready for church. After breakfast Nathan was trying to get the boys ready but he couldn't find Aiden that is until he looked at the chair. I guess Aiden was trying to tell us that 9am church is way to early. I have to admit I would agree with him. :)
What can I say??? The boys loves his chair and his blanket.

Aiden turned one on March 11. I can't believe he is already 1!!! We tried to have cake on his bday but he did not want it. He was just so tired so I saved him a peace thinking he would like it. But I think he had other plans for it. Don't let the frosting on his face fool you.
Aiden tries the cake....
Aiden has decided that he most definitely does not like cake.

Look!!! I have teeth.
Happy Aiden.

Look who is walking...

January, February 2011

January and February we have not had a whole lot going on. Our household has not been feeling very well. But knock on wood I hope we are all getting over the gomboo that has been going around.

There are a few thing that I have learned that our boys love. One being the laundry basket.
I was working on my ironing pile and the boys decided to play in my basket. They stayed there until I was done.

Aiden seems to think the basket is a safe spot. Every time it is out no matter how full it is he will always find a way to get into it.

Two Cameron loves the camera as long as he is not the one in front of it.
Cameron has decided that he would like to be the one taking the pictures. This is one he took of Nathan while he was studying.

Apparently Aiden wanted the camera to but Cameron wouldn't give it to him. Instead he decided to take
Aiden's picture. It is fun to see new surprises on the camera every now and then.

And three that Aiden can now get up and down the chair in his bedroom. As you probably can tell he is quite proud of himself! Since then we have found him curled up in that chair sleeping.
