Big News!!

We have some major mile stones that we have reached this week that we wanted to share with everyone.  First, on Tuesday I took Cameron for his will baby check and the nurse asked me if he was walking yet.  I told her that he is only cruising our furniture and has taken one quick step in between the couches.  Will Cameron had a surprise up his sleeve.  As soon as Nathan came home from work, Cameron parked his car across the room and proceeded to walk to the computer chair which is in the middle of the room and from there to me.  We are so excited.  We love his "wobbly walk."

Our final news is that Nathan made it into to the University of Southern Nevada!!  We are supper excited!  We just found out on Friday and have not been able to quite smiling since.  It is so nice to have such a long wait over with and to be able to finally plan for our future.

Happy Birthday Cameron

On Friday we celebrated Cameron's first birthday. It has been so much fun to watch him as he learns and grows. Cameron overall had a very good day despite having a little cold, poor guy:(. We made him his favorite dinner, which is mac and cheese with pizza sauce and broccoli.

He ate it all up, even down to the last piece of macaroni! (Of course some fell onto his clothes, so we didn't count that stuff)

After this big meal, we decided it was time for cake. After all, he was already dirty.

Mom blew out the candle for him. This perked his attention.

Boy, this cake tastes even better than the macaroni!

Ugh! That flash is too bright :(

Wow, all this food has made me thirsty. REEAAAALLY THIRSTY!

Today was insane. Starting.... to get.... SLEEPY.

I had to wake up because I was dirty. That's OK, I guess.

Now that I'm getting clean, I'm happy again!

I'm dressed in my cars pajamas, and I'm ready to roll.

Overall, we think Cameron had a good first birthday. We hope you enjoyed this post.

We're in trouble!

We have a great movie to show you today. We caught Cameron in the act! You see, we have heard him bang on the shower doors a few times in the past, and we were confused because we thought we had closed the bedroom door. We dismissed it, deciding that we must have forgotten to close the door. Finally, we have caught him, and we've proven that he does open doors now. The little bugger! Now we have to devise new methods of containment :). I wonder how much those door-handle-thingies cost....
